Subject: PNC Arts Center New Jersey Set List/Comment

Casey:

I just saw Roger Waters at the PNC Arts Center in New Jersey last
night.   It was an awesome summer night, and Roger was excellent.  Up
until last night, I  always said the best concert I had ever seen was
the Radio KAOS concert in Providence, RI in 1987.  Now that
has changed.  Last night was truely a moving experience for me.

As Roger played, I was in awe...I was seeing a living legend.  I was
seeing a show that did not try to beat us over the head with laser shows
and explosions.  This was a raw rock and roll band that resembled the
Floyd of old.  This band  was just there to play, and have a good time
doing it.  As Roger was running through his classics of Floyd, I
remember thinking that he is really the only one that desereves to
perform these songs, because they are his.  He wrote them.  In essence,
he was Pink Floyd.

Tears came to my eyes.  Literally.  The first time was during Mother,
when it finally sank in that I was actually at this show.  The second
time was during Every Strangers Eyes, when his sang  "...and I see
signs....."  hitting the high note perfectly.   He sounded just like the
record.  Exactly.

Again, it was a truely moving experience for me.  It is now Saturday
morning, and I will see him again tonight at Jones Beach, NY.  I can't
wait.

Here is a (small) checklist of other oberservations:

        The Powers that Be ROCKED!!!!!
        He SANG money and time
        He played the acoustic guitar for Wish You Were Here
        He did not wear sunglasses.
        He was having a great time.


Here is the setlist, though as you can see, it is exactly the same as
Toronto.
