Dear Sir, I have read through the lyrics of Amused to Death posted on your page. First Id like to congratulate you for the detailed description of sound effects and background you describe. I would also like to make a clarification. In the song Late Home Tonight, the Libyan household does have Egyptian Arabic spoken on television. There is a logical reason. Egyptian cinema and television series are the most popular in the Arab world. It is the source of a large income for Egypt. Most Arabs are familiar with the spoken Egyptian because of their exposure to its cinema and television series. I believe that it was no mistake. (I am Egyptian-Lebanese by the way). Just a message to thank you for your page and to give Roger Waters even more credit. Sincerely, Sahar Shahin.
